Annual Youth Excellence Recognition Ceremony

Every year, VCSA sponsors the Vietnamese-American Youth Excellence Recognition Ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of outstanding Vietnamese-American high school students. VCSA recognizes the academic achievements of these high school students who graduated as either valedictorian or salutatorian of their respective high schools in the Greater Houston Area. The program also serves to encourage younger Vietnamese American generations to strive for academic excellence and instill a strong sense of civic responsibility among all Vietnamese-Americans in the Greater Houston area.

Scholarships

VVDV: What We Do

Two $500 scholarships are available, open to all high school graduates, college undergraduates, and graduate students of Vietnamese descent in the greater Houston area.

Scholarship recipients must be present at our Youth Excellence Recognition Program, Vẻ Vang Dân Việt on Sunday, August 6, 2023, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Kim Son Bellaire to receive their scholarship.
