Việt Cultural Fest
On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, The Vietnamese Science Culture Association (VCSA) celebrated our 4th annual Việt Cultural Festival at NRG Center. This was an immense undertaking involving many volunteers spending their time to uplift Houston’s Vietnamese community as everyone gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnamese diaspora.

Miss Teen Việt Cultural Fest 2025
The Miss Teen Việt Cultural Fest pageant is unique scholarship opportunity held during Việt Cultural Fest, created to honor the talent, identity, and cultural pride of young Vietnamese-American girls. Designed as an empowering and inclusive leadership experience, the program provides participants with opportunities to deepen their connection to heritage, amplify their voices, engage in meaningful community impact, and cultivate the confidence and skills that will support them as the leaders of tomorrow.

YES Camp
The Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) Camp is a transformative, 3-day camp that empowers our next generation of leaders in the Greater Houston area. Through collaborative workshops, inspiring talks, and civic engagement training, it equips the next generation to become active participants and leaders in their communities.
SAVE THE DATE: YES CAMP 2026 will be from Friday, August 7 at 4:00 PM to Sunday, August 9 at 3:00 PM at YMCA Camp Cullen.
Việt Vote Houston
Việt Vote Houston is a non-partisan collaborative campaign with the Institution of Civic Education in Vietnam (ICEVN) serving over 150,000 Vietnamese-Americans in the Greater Houston area with a purpose to promote civic engagement by hosting and attending cultural events within the Houston vicinity.

Camp Lên Đường
Camp Lên Đường is a national Vietnamese youth leadership development camp dedicated to empowering the next generation of change-makers through culture, community, and personal growth. Founded in Fort Worth, TX in 1998, the camp has brought together young adults from across North America for an immersive experience centered on leadership development, team-building, wellness, and Vietnamese cultural identity. Through workshops, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable shared experiences, Camp Lên Đường inspires participants to build lifelong connections, embrace their roots, and lead with purpose.
Vẻ Vang Dân Việt
On Sunday, August 6th, 2023, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA) celebrated the 27th Annual Vietnamese-American Youth Excellence Recognition Luncheon (Vẻ Vang Dân Việt - VVDV) at Kim Son Ballroom. The Youth Excellence Recognition Luncheon honored twenty-two (22) of the forty Vietnamese-American students graduating either Valedictorian or Salutatorian of their respective high school in the Greater Houston area.
