The Vietnamese Culture & Science Association (VCSA) is currently working on Project Ike to provide hurricane relief for families in Harris County. The Project Ike Program is designed to provide help, support and advocacy for survivors as they recover from the disaster.

For this holiday season, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association of Houston will have a holiday drive that will be donated to families located in Oak Island area (near Beaumont) whose homes were destroyed due to Hurricane Ike. This group includes many Vietnamese families that came to America as refugees after the Vietnam War as they searched for freedom and a brighter future.
