What: Camp Logo Design Contest

Award: One (1) winner will have their winning logo design published on all Len Duong 2011 memorabilia and print material, receive FREE admission to Len Duong Camp 2011 (a $165.00 value), and $250.00 USD

Deadline: April 7, 2011 11:59 pm CST

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must demonstrate artistic vision, experience with graphic design, and/or graphic illustration

    • Purpose:

    The winning logo design will be used as the official logo for Len Duong Camp 2011.

    Application Requirements:

    1. Complete and submit a camp logo design contest application (click HERE to download form)
    2. Submit a statement explaining the meaning of your logo and any special designations for the judges to consider
    3. An original logo design for Camp Len Duong 2011 created with the following judging criteria in mind:
      • Artistic value of the design
      • Reflection of the youth, teamwork, enthusiasm, volunteerism, spirit of the camp for the last 14 years (a torch figure or shape is preferred)
      • Simplicity so that it can be printed on T-shirt and promotional items without any technical difficulties
      • Maximum of 4 colors
      • A logo must have the following wording:
        • "Youth Leadership Development Camp"
        • Len Duong’11 or Len Duong 2011
          Optional: Denton, Texas, USA)

    Application Submission:

    After completing all the application requirements, submit all documentation as individual attachments in one (1) email to vcsa-CampLogo@vcsa.org with subject heading: “Your Last Name – 2011 VCSA Camp Logo Contest.”

    Send the soft copy of the logo in picture format such as Corel Draw (.cdr) or Illustrator (.ai) or Window metafile (wmf) photoShop (.psd or .jpeg) to the LD Logo committee. Hard copies will not be accepted.

    **NOTE: All submitted material must be the original work of the applicant. Entries must not be plagiarized, published work, or used in a previous submission for this, or any other contest. Any suspicious entries will be automatically disqualified.
