The Vietnamese Culture and Science Association (VCSA) and the LePham family are pleased to invite applicants for the 2009 Nicholas C. LePham Citizenship and Public Service Award. The LePham family and committee is looking to award this scholarship to an aspiring Vietnamese-American student who is able to demonstrate strong civic participation and active citizenship within the community. Changes and improvements can only take place when future leaders organize within the community to address problems.

I. Purpose
To assist and encourage students of Vietnamese descent to excel in scholastic achievement, leadership qualities, and community involvement, especially to those who have significant financial need.

II. Outlines

• Greatland Investment Scholarship Foundation will award $1000.00 scholarship to graduating high school students who maintain a minimum of 3.0 GPA, and have significant financial need.

When: Start on Monday June 15th, 2009 - Every Monday and Wednesday for 6 weeks
