For this holiday season, the Vietnamese Culture and Science Association of Houston will have a holiday drive that will be donated to families located in Oak Island area (near Beaumont) whose homes were destroyed due to Hurricane Ike. This group includes many Vietnamese families that came to America as refugees after the Vietnam War as they searched for freedom and a brighter future. However, most of them have lost everything from their homes, boats, and any source of shelter to the devastating Ike.

Another year has passed, it is time for us all come together to celebrate our achievements and hard works. VCSA will be hosting a diner for VCSA family and friends on Dec 19th, at Jasmine restaurant.
