Dear all sponsors and supporters;

On behalf of VCSA, we would like to send our sincere appreciations to all sponsors and supporters who have helped us to make the very first North American camp Len Duong in Canada this past July 4 weekend. It was THE BEST camp in the last 12 years. To share with you some special moments of the camp below is the link to a documentary that one of our staff has put together, because of all the excitement and passions generated after the camp

The camp gathered 200 campers and staff from 10 US states and 4 provinces in Canada. This was also the first time we brought the camp out of the US, and had a great team of staff 50% from US and 50% from Canada. The camp was hosted by VCSA-Toronto chapter at Crieff Hills Community, Puslinch, Ontario, Canada, about 40 minutes of driving from Toronto.

The theme of the camp was "Leadership Beyond Borders - Energize the Passion and Seize the Opportunities". The camp master was Ms. Quynh Huynh, a 22-year-old college graduate, young community activist, Vice-President of VCSA-Toronto chapter, and the two Assistants to camp Master were Duy Anh Truong, a System Engineer from Houston, Texas, and Tho Pham, a Researcher from Windsor, Ontario, Canada.

Only days after the camp, the campers were so excited and passionate that they built a face book page with more than 10 discussion topics, 900+ pictures, 25+ video clips and tons of great compliments. The passion does not stop there, we are sure that we will have many community projects started because of this.

This camp was phenomenon this year and all of these wonderful memories would not be possible without your continual support in all these years. With that we would like to send you our most profound gratitude from the bottom of our heart... You helped to make it happen every year.

Special thanks to Dr. Loc Le, Mr. Quang Nguyen (TME), Ms. Duy-Loan Le, Mr. Nguyen Huu Chau Thy, Mr. Dat Nguyen and Mr. & Mrs.Duong Phuc and Vu Thanh Thuy for your presence at the camp, another special thank to Dr. Rick Ngo and Mr. Le Hoang Nguyen for not just serving as full-time staff but also donated scholarship to assist out of town campers to join the camp as well. Your service and support is greatly appreciated.

Next year, we will bring the camp back to Houston, Texas and we really look forward to continuing our relationship with you in this coming year and years to come.

At the end of the camp, there were campers who are ready to help us to establish two more VCSA Chapters, one in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and another one in Minnesota, US. We also got a new chapter established in Dayton, Ohio in May 2009. We are very excited about this. All of these achievements would not be possible without your support.
