Mr. Tran Truong

vcsaTruong Tran first attended camp Len Duong 2002 in Huntsville, Texas and he and his wife, Thanh Thu Vo, became active members of VCSA since then. Truong Tran was born in Hue in 1975 and went to high school in Vietnam. He immigrated to the United States in 1993, attended high school and graduated from Syracuse University in New York in 2000. He has been working with Lockheed Martin ever since. Truong has continued to serve the local Vietnamese communities in numerous community projects after he joined VCSA DFW chapter. He also came back and served as staff for Len Duong camp in subsequent years. One of the outstanding projects that he led recently was the VIET-VOTE project to organize a Rock and Vote concert to promote civic participation in the Vietnamese American communities in Dallas and Fort Worth areas. Truong and Thanh Thu (his wife) are also role models of VCSA members who both husband and wife are actively involved with the organization and their tireless dedication to community work has been a shining example of volunteerism demonstrated by past Len Duong campers.
