Mr. Duy-Anh Huynh Truong

vcsaDuy-Anh Huynh Truong was born in Saigon, Vietnam. He started volunteering at 11 years old by joining Gia Dinh Phat Tu (Buddhist Youth Association) and committed to leadership role at 17 years old. Throughout 17 years with the organization, he involved in numerous community services such as organizing boy/girl scout camping, cultural show case, and teaching Buddhism and leadership skills to children. In 2006, Duy-Anh joined VCSA Houston Chapter and actively involved in many organization’s major projects (Len Duong Camp, TOPS, Youth Excellent Recognition, Mid-Autumn Festival, etc). In 2008, he was invited to be VCSA General Secretary. Duy-Anh earned a Bachelor Degree of Computer Science at Louisiana State University in 2004. He is currently working as IT Infrastructure Analyst at Chevron Corporation.

His goals as BOD member are bridging generations within VCSA, promoting youth volunteerism, training future community leader with character, and building VCSA to become a prestigious Vietnamese American organization.
